For many participants, the act of wearing a swimsuit in public had long been accompanied by emotional barriers—decades of internalised judgment, societal expectation, and personal discomfort. Cossie Confidence became a vehicle through which these women were encouraged to step forward, literally and figuratively, into spaces they had previously avoided.

We had so many amazing women with amazing stories. Notably, Maz Saunders, now known widely by her handle @mazlifestyle, represents a striking example of what can emerge from such empowerment. Having participated in the Cossie Confidence campaign, Maz leveraged her experience into a thriving personal brand. As a mature influencer, she cultivates an engaged community focused on style, vitality, and authenticity—proving that influence has no age limit when rooted in real connection and courage.
